So, I’ve finally managed to transfer the blog to my server. It wasn’t hard, there was almost nothing special to do, except from setting up WordPress to use SSH as I don’t have FTP installed. It was tricky, as I couldn’t set it up to use keys, but finally I just allowed localhost to use password to authenticate (anybody else still has to use keys):
Match address 127.0.0.1
Another great news is that I moved the whole DNS of nxu.hu to CloudFlare. It’s a lot faster than ClouDNS, has amazing caching and I can use free SSL everywhere, even on subdomains.
Small edit: after SSH started being strange, I disabled it and chose another solution – I installed FTP, only enabled it for the wordpress user and I turn it on everytime manually when performing updates.
